KMI’s decorative pigments for ceramics – MIOX^® ME

KMI’s product range contains a broad variety of fineness from standard grades, to very fine, micronized types and also dust free flaky products, such as the MIOX^® ME series. Owing to the high melting point (> 1.500 °C) these flaky products can be used as decorative pigments for ceramics.

Wall and floor tiles, used for interior and exterior decoration, are the primary target segments for MIOX^® ME. However, also other whiteware segments are in discussion. Best results are achieved in porcelain stoneware tiles.

MIOX^® ME is added either to the top layer of the body composition, or as a pigment to the glaze.
